Bespoke Oak Entry - Willow Glen

For this historic Willow Glen residence, we installed a custom-milled European Oak entry system. The project required structural reinforcement of the 100-year-old framing to support the weight of the new solid-core door and triple-pane insulated glass side-lites.

A contemporary loft project utilizing thermally broken aluminum frames and high-visibility impact glass. We achieved a seamless transition between the interior and the balcony, ensuring full compliance with California energy Title 24 standards.

While the photos show the aesthetic success of our work, they don't show the hidden engineering that makes a CaliDoor Craft project special. Behind every finished casing is a system of shims, high-expansion insulating foam, and structural screws that ensure the door will never sag or bind. We take pride in the "invisible" parts of our work—the parts that ensure your door still closes perfectly ten years from now.
